Voici quatre\u00a0conseils qui vont mieux vous guider \u00e0 faire vos achats<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>1- Bien comprendre les all\u00e9gations nutritionnelles !<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Ce sont des affirmations qui se trouvent sur l\u2019emballage de nombreux produits alimentaires et elle sont r\u00e9gies et r\u00e9glement\u00e9es par Sant\u00e9 Canada. Parmi celles les plus importantes pour une personne pr\u00e9-diab\u00e9tique ou diab\u00e9tique:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Sans sucre ajout\u00e9 OU non sucr\u00e9 = aucun sucre n\u2019a \u00e9t\u00e9 <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>ajout\u00e9<\/strong><\/span>. Des substituts de sucre (aspartame, sucralose, sucres-alcools) peuvent \u00eatre ajout\u00e9s. Toutefois, \u00e7a ne veut pas dire que cet aliment ne contient pas de glucide ou de sucre!<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Sans sucre OU z\u00e9ro sucre OU aucun sucre \u00a0= l\u2019aliment contient moins de 0.5g de sucre par portion.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Teneur r\u00e9duite en sucre OU moins de sucre =Le produit contient au moins 5g de glucides de moins par portion par rapport \u00e0 la version originale<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u00ab\u00a0L\u00e9ger\u00a0\u00bb= l\u2019aliment a une teneur r\u00e9duite en lipide (gras) ou en calories par rapport au produit original.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>Attention<\/em><\/span>: les produits ayant cette derni\u00e8re all\u00e9gation peuvent contenir plus de glucides que le produit original pour compenser pour la diminution du gras et am\u00e9liorer le gout. V\u00e9rifier et comparer le tableau de la valeur nutritive des diff\u00e9rents produits avant de faire votre choix.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>2- Regarder les cinq premiers ingr\u00e9dients<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Les ingr\u00e9dients sont toujours inscrits en ordre d\u00e9croissant de poids sur la liste. Il est donc \u00e0 noter que<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> les cinq premiers ingr\u00e9dients<\/span> sont ceux qui sont pr\u00e9sents dans le produit en plus grande quantit\u00e9. Malheureusement, on ne rep\u00e8re pas toujours le mot sucre mais des synonymes qui sont mal reconnus.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Synonyme de sucre\u00a0<\/span>: les termes finissants pas &#8220;ose&#8221; (sucrose, dextrose, fructose, saccharose, glucose, maltose, lactose), dextrine ou maltodextrine, cassonade, miel, sirop (\u00e9rable, mais), m\u00e9lasse, jus de canne, concentr\u00e9 de jus etc&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>3- Visez le plus de fibre possible <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Bien qu\u2019il soit important de v\u00e9rifier la quantit\u00e9 de glucide, la quantit\u00e9 de fibres est \u00e9galement importante car ces derni\u00e8res ralentissent entre autres l\u2019absorption des glucides. Les aliments riches en fibres sont : les produits c\u00e9r\u00e9aliers \u00e0 grains entiers, les c\u00e9r\u00e9ales, le son de bl\u00e9, les fruits, les l\u00e9gumes, les l\u00e9gumineuses, et les noix et graines. A l\u2019\u00e9picerie choisissez le plus possible les produits qui contiennent le plus de fibres.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">A savoir:<\/span><\/em> il faut soustraire les fibres du total des glucides. Par exemple sur une boite de c\u00e9r\u00e9ales, on peut lire que pour une tasse (30g) on trouve 25g de glucides dont 5g de fibre. Si on soustrait la quantit\u00e9 de fibre (25-5), les glucides qu&#8217;il faut consid\u00e9rer sont 20g.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Une facon pour \u00e9valuer si un produit est riche en fibre ou pas, c&#8217;est de v\u00e9rifier <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">le % de la valeur quotidienne<\/span> qu&#8217;on retrouve \u00e0 droite du tableau de la valeur nutritive. En g\u00e9neral, si le produit contient 5% ou moins de fibre par portion ca veut dire que cet aliment est faible en fibre. Si c&#8217;est 15 % ou plus par portion, le produit est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 riche en fibre et ca serait un bon choix.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>4- N\u2019oubliez pas de v\u00e9rifier la portion de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence !<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Toutes les valeurs pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es dans le tableau de la valeur nutritive repr\u00e9sentent une quantit\u00e9 sp\u00e9cifique d\u2019aliment.
